The child in the painting wears an ancient mask – a Dacian mask, stolen from history, sold through silence, and forgotten by those who should have protected it.
His gaze is invisible, yet you feel it. It lives in the silence of the wall behind him, in the tension of the color, in the gesture that may look like vandalism but is, in fact, a form of reclamation.
This child doesn’t ask for the past back – he claims it with fury.
The Dacian mask becomes a symbol of a generation that knows not only its history was stolen, but its future too.
And the red flows – over ruins, over walls, over oblivion.
